The first-ever Equal Street Festival at NTPC Kanti was organised on 7th May 2023 with the theme of ZOES which means Zest Oneness Entertainment Street. This was first ever street fest organised at any NTPC Stations.

The purpose of this fest was to spread a sense of equality and togetherness among all the family and employees of NTPC Kanti. The day was full of fun and entertainment for everyone. 

Sh K.M.K Prusty, BUH, NTPC Kanti inaugurated the fest in the presence of Shri Anand Banerjee, GM (O&M), Sh Manoj Sinha, GM (C&M), Shri Partha Nag, GM(O), Smt. Sushma Prusty, President Sanghamitra Mahila Mandal, Shri Nilesh Dangayach, Vice president (EWA), employees and NTPC Kanti family members.

There were a variety of activities to enjoy, including singing, dancing, mimicry, and playing musical instruments. For those who preferred more laid-back activities, games like tug of war, 7 stone, carrom, cards were also arranged. 

In addition to all the fun activities, there were also plenty of delicious food stalls of Hydrabadi biryani, pastry chat, paw bhaji, sandwich, maggie and many more to enjoy. 

Traditional dresses were also worn by many attendees, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Overall, the Equal Street Festival was a huge success and brought people together in a spirit of fun and camaraderie.
